BUDDY

This is a message from a recent client of ours:
Barb:
Hi,Hope you and your family are doing great and are enjoying the Spring weather!
We received Buddy from you in November 2007 from Captain and Jewel's litter. He is doing so well!! He is such a joy!! I think he looks a lot like his Dad. He loves all the kids in the neighborhood, older people at my mother in law's nursing home and pretty much any person or dog. We have been going to the dog park a lot and he LOVES to play with the other dogs and run and chew sticks. We have a lot of fun there meeting other people. Thank you so much for socializing him so well as a young pup! He has really blended into our family well and now I don't know how I lived without him because I love him so much!!
He is very smart and obedient for his age and has a very calm disposition. He walks like a lion, kind of saunters and has a very proud prance when we go for walks. It is so fun to watch him grow. We are in puppy class with his sister Olivia and that is really fun to see them play too!!
Thanks again for everything.

MADDIE HAD HER PUPPIES!

Oops... in all the madness at the end of last week, I forgot to make this posting: Maddie surprised us and had her puppies five days early! She has 5 females, 4 males. This litter is spoken for. We are taking applications for the June and July litters. We are pretty excited for the week-end state swim meet. Thankfully our nephew will be staying with the puppies while we are gone!
These four boys are state champions in the 200 free relay! They have learned so many things this year. Watching them stride up the podium to the very top step, and the emotions they felt, made all the grueling practices worth it! Daniel tied for 7th in the state in his 200 free, and swam his personal best in the 500 to set a new school record. The relay team finished 3rd in the 400 relay, and as a team, finished 7 in the state! Coach was beaming with pride! We have never done so well in the swim season. Swimming is such a rewarding sport. For example, Daniel finished 13 in the state in the 500, in an ordinary situation that isn't so great, but he swam his personal best, so it was fantastic! There are not many sports or extra curricular events that offer such self esteem and feelings of accomplishment for an individual. If you want to do well, and work hard at it, you continue to improve with every meet. This is a wonderful lesson in life. As time goes on, these boys will forget all the pain they endured, but they will remember the moment they stood on the podium together...a team...THE CHAMPIONS OF 2008!

STATE CHAMPS!!!

Daniel had a wonderful meet yesterday!! He placed 7 in the state in the 200 freestyle, with a time of 1:49.65 and 13 in the state in the 500 with a time of 5:10.15, and STATE CHAMPION in the 200 freestyle relay with time of 1:29.15, and 3rd in the state in the 400 relay with a time of 3:19!! All four of these times are new school records in Litchfield... what a grand day!! If you want to see more photos, there is a great one on the Star Tribune site and www.mnprepphoto.com.
